Critical care or ICU nursing is a specialization of nursing which deals specifically with patients experiencing high-dependency, life –threatening conditions.
Life is amazing and beautiful, but it has miserable moments. Being a critical care nurse offers the opportunity to make a difference in a vulnerable moment of someone else’s life. With deep respect for the human being, we can go beyond the probable and make others see what is possible only through us. This is the heart of the art of nursing, Critical decisions, highly stressful situations, and ethical dilemmas are all part of the unique environment of a critical care unit. To be able to help the patient feel better and recover to a higher state of health is our mission.
